How we survived Droughtlander

I have been in the fandom world for a while and it was painful waiting for a new season to begin. I have waited for the continuation of The Walking Dead while it went on a hiatus but it never felt like this. It felt like pure torture waiting for the second half of the first season to air! Was it 6 or 7 months? Hell, I lost track! How did we survive? The Outlander Fanmily of course!

By fanmily, I mean the fans, our sister Sassenachs and the cast and crew of Outlander and that includes the DRIVERS! Sam had his My Peak Challenge and his fan follow for a week, which I called ‘Win a Friend in Sam Heughan’ or something of that nature. Sort of like ‘Win a Date with Tad Hamilton’ except it never went beyond Twitter! Grant and Graham are always entertaining and Terry interacts with the fans quite a bit! Cait when she is on Twitter, is funny! Did you catch her April Fools Jokes? Tobias says some Outlandish things at times!

Fraser’s Ridge had an ongoing trivia game going on Twitter for about three months and that was entertaining. When I caught the action on Twitter, it was always fun to see who answered first! We have joined Facebook groups to talk about our love of the show and to discuss the episodes! Then there is never a shortage of artwork, or fanart if you will!

As many of you know I have been doing #365DaysOfOutlander since the beginning of January. I had just moved to a new place in December and I needed an outlet! I started back up with my blends and have loved exploring my creative side using Outlander as my muse! So here is one of new favorites plus Day 94. Yes, we are 94 days into the new year already and #OutlanderReturns tonight!

I love Game of Thrones, Supernatural,Big Bang Theory, Criminal Minds, Blue Bloods, Outlander, Once Upon A Time, The Walking Dead, Fear The Walking Dead and many other shows. I am also a major hockey fan, especially my Detroit Red Wings! I also enjoy classic books and legal thrillers. I am also a very proud Blockhead, and my dream is to meet all 5 members ASAP! I might need a little help from the lottery!

I somehow missed your last piece of art that you did, just lovely! Yes the Outlander fanmily has really been great in help me get through Droughtlander. I never knew any the answers to those trivia questions on Twitter. LOL

Loved the episode! The soaking scene, I think, will turn out to not be a ‘gate’ at all (thank goodness) and that sex scene as absolutely incredible!!!

I just wish my husband could fully get into it. He thinks there’s not enough action and thinks Jamie uses too many romantic phrases. LOL. Oh well. I love it.
