Outlander Question of the Week: Historical Parties

qotw 16

It’s Sunday, time for the Question of the Week!  This week’s question is a variation on the question I asked in the Caitrionation Facebook group yesterday.

History fascinates me, in particular the differences between the way people are portrayed in “official history” and the way they really were.

So today’s question is this: You are having a dinner party and can invite 4 characters (besides Jamie & Claire, they are hosting with you) from any of the Outlander books and 4 real people from history.  Your historical folks can come from any period in world history.  What kind of conversations would Jamie have with say, Attila the Hun? Or what about Claire and Nelly Bly?

I would invite Rachel & Ian, Lord John, and Auntie Jocasta.  From history, I think Marilyn Monroe, Cotton Mather, Mary Magdalene, and Jim Morrison.

Ok, your turn. GO!
